Avenir Souveraineté brings together public - and private - sector stakeholders to raise awareness of sovereignty issues and develop concrete solutions to strengthen Europe’s freedom of action.

WHO ARE WE?

Born out of the conviction that sovereignty is one of the defining strategic challenges of the 21st century, the Endowment Fund Avenir Souveraineté was established to provide concrete responses to the profound geopolitical, economic, industrial and technological transformations shaping our world.

The proliferation of hybrid threats, the growing vulnerability of supply chains and the intensification of global technological competition are directly challenging Europe’s ability to protect its vital interests and preserve its freedom of action.

In the face of these upheavals, sovereignty can no longer be considered as the sole responsibility of public authorities. It requires collective mobilisation and close cooperation between public-sector institutions, businesses, academia, and civil society.

Avenir Souveraineté therefore brings together individuals and organisations from a wide range of backgrounds to foster a holistic, forward-looking and action-oriented approach to sovereignty across all its dimensions: technological, scientific, industrial, defence, energy, health, food, digital, cultural and more.

Through knowledge-sharing, dialogue and support for strategic initiatives, the fund aims to strengthen Europe’s resilience, autonomy and freedom of action in an increasingly uncertain global environment.

CHAIRS OF ADVANCED STUDIES FOR SOVEREIGNTY

‍Created by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, PSL University and ESCP Business School, the Chairs conduct top-level academic research intosovereignty-related issues.

OBSERVATORY FOR SOVEREIGNTY

An organisation dedicated to assessing sovereignty at all levels through the development of objective and measurable indicators, providing an index as well as a ranking system to compare levels of sovereignty.

CONNECT

Avenir Souveraineté brings together individuals from a wide range of sectors, locations and backgrounds to discuss strategic challenges and foster meaningful dialogue on the issues shaping the future of sovereignty.

HIGH COUNCIL FOR SOVEREIGNTY

‍As a high-level forum for reflection and action, the High Council unites leading European figures in their respective fields to discuss and set out guidelines on matters related to sovereignty.
